What is Plakat Lotte Féministes?
Plakat Lotte Féministes is a Swiss initiative aimed at spreading a strong message about feminist struggles through thousands of posters created by inspired feminists.The posters will be published on Instagram and made available for free download on the website, allowing everyone to print, share, and display them freely (but not for commercial purposes) in preparation for June 14, 2025.
Long live feminist exhibitions and radical, fierce struggles!
Why fight?
Because we’ve had enough of the patriarchal society. Because our bodies belong to us, and we demand the freedom to make our own choices. Because we claim the right to sexual and gender self-determination. Because we stand against sexist, homophobic, and transphobic violence – we remain strong! Because we want shame to shift to the other side. Because we’ve had enough of the capitalist society. Because we want to reduce working hours. We want equality and a dignified life. Because domestic, educational, and care work must be recognized and shared, just like the mental load. Because we’ve had enough of racism and multiple forms of discrimination. Because the right to asylum is a fundamental right: the right to stay for everyone! Because we’ve had enough of ableism. Because public and social spaces must become collective places of exchange and mutual respect. Because schools and institutions reinforce divisions, social hierarchies, and systems of oppression. Because we want to enjoy ourselves without restrictions, talk about our bodies, pleasure, and sexual diversity. Because we want culture and artistic practices to be valued as they deserve. Because we want to write and rewrite our history and build our hopes. Because we want to live in a society based on solidarity. Because we want freedom!

How to contribute with an illustration?
If you love creating and feminist struggles matter to you, this initiative is for you!Here’s the email address where you can send your poster: plakat_lotte_
The poster will be published on Instagram and the website and made available to everyone for free. If you want to be tagged, please mention it in your message and include your Instagram handle. Make sure to include the title of your artwork in the file names.
The required formats are:
1. A PDF file in A4 format (21 x 29.7 cm or 8.3 x 11.7 inches).
2. A JPG or PNG file for Instagram (aspect ratio 1:1, 1.91:1, or 4:3).
If you are sending multiple posters, please send them as separate PDF files.
To ensure high-quality prints (from A4 to A0 formats), the minimum resolution should be 150 dpi, with a maximum file size of 20 MB.
